Summer holidays in Le Grand-Bornand

Tucked away in the quiet Bouchet valley, our apartments are the perfect base for hiking, playing golf or enjoying the village. Here are our favourites.

Sentier de randonnée dans une vallée verdoyante du Grand-Bornand

Our favourite hikes

  • Up to the Gramusset mountain hut and the Pointe Percée (2,750 m, the highest summit in the Aravis), via the Col des Annes. The final climb to the summit is for experienced hikers only.
  • From Le Chinaillon: Lac de Lessy and the Maroly hikes.

In the Bouchet valley

The Le Grand-Bornand golf course, in the same valley as the chalet.

In the village

The church, the Art Vache cow art trail, the Maison du Patrimoine heritage house and La Source, the restaurants and the cinema.

Big summer events

  • Au Bonheur des Mômes, the children’s festival, every summer (18 to 22 July in 2027).
  • The Fête de l’Alpage mountain pasture festival, every year in early August.
